Data on reading interest and illiteracy rates affect the position of Indonesia's Human Development Index (HDI), which is measured by life expectancy (health level), economic growth and quality of education. Based on BPS data in 2014, the HDI value increased slightly to 68.90 from 68.40 in 2013.The general objective of the Literacy and Numeracy Movement is to foster a culture of literacy and numeracy in the educational ecosystem starting from families, schools, and communities in the context of lifelong learning as an effort to improvethe quality of life in Indonesian society.This activity method is carried out by face-to-face between teachers and participants in Pakpahan village, Onanrunggu District, Samosir Regency, which is directly guided by the head of pakpahan village, Onanrunggu District, Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province on Monday –Tuesday on February 26-27, 2023.This numeracy literacy has very pronounced benefits, because its application is immediately felt in everyday life. The benefits of numeracy literacy that are felt directly by students are having special knowledge and skills about mathematical calculations and symbols that are applied to real life in the form of good activity management and students can easily make decisions in aspects of their lives.
