dc.description | Science is a basic lesson that must be taught in elementary and secondary schools and even up to college. However, based on the results of observations, students have the assumption that science is a difficult subject. So that interest in learning is low and learning goals are not optimal. This research is a classroom action research that aims to increase students' interest in learning by using a problem based learning (PBL) model on natural resource materials and their use. This research was carried out in class V of SDN 10 Ulu Mahuam, Silangkitang District, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency in the 2021/2022 academic year with a total of 37 students. The results showed that the average percentage of students' learning interest observations had increased from 28.35 with a value of 35.43 during the first cycle (Meeting I) to 38.21 with a value of 47.7 during the first cycle (Meeting II). In cycle II the average percentage of student observations has increased to 53.27 with a value of 66.58 in cycle II (Meeting I) to 64.18 with a value of 80.23 in cycle II (Meeting II). It is clear that the problem based learning (PBL) model can increase the learning interest of fifth graders at SDN 10 Ulu Mahuam. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Sains merupakan pembelajaran pokok yang harus dibelajarkan di sekolah dasar dan menengah bahkan sampai perguruan tinggi. Namun berdasarkan hasil observasi siswa memiliki anggapan sains pelajaran yang sulit. Sehingga minat belajar rendah dan tujuan belajar pun tidak maksimal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dapat meningkat dengan model problem based learning (PBL) pada materi sumber daya alam dan penggunaannya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN 10 Ulu Mahuam Kecamatan Silangkitang Kabupaten Labuhan Batu Selatan tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan jumlah siswa 37 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari Persentase rata-rata hasil observasi minat belajar siswa telah meningkat dari 28,35 dengan nilai 35,43 pada saat siklus I (Pertemuan I) menjadi 38,21 dengan nilai 47,7 pada saat siklus I (Pertemuan II). Pada siklus II persentase rata-rata hasil observasi siswa telah meningkat menjadi 53,27 dengan nilai 66,58 pada siklus II (Pertemuan I) menjadi 64,18 dengan nilai 80,23 siklus II (Pertemuan II). Terlihat jelas bahwa model problem based learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas V SDN 10 Ulu Mahuam. | en_US |
