PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN ORGANISASI DAN IMPLEMENTASI STRATEGI TERHADAP EVALUASI DAN PENGENDALIAN SERTA KINERJA INDUSTRI MINYAK SAWIT SUMATERA UTARA

Abstract

The purpose of this resarch is to find out the influence of the organization internal environment and strategy implementation on evaluation and control and its impact on the performance of the palm oil industry in North Sumatera. The type of this research is casual relationship between variables applying the census method in collecting the primary data through the use of questionnaires to 219 respondents at 73 analysis units using the likert scale as the measurement basis of data collected. Data analyses were carried out through structural equation modeling. The findings of the research showed that there are positive influences of the three variables on the performance of the palm oli industry in North Sumatera. The conclutions of the research are: (1) the organization internal environment influences the strategy implementation positively and significantly, (2) the organization internal environment and strategy implementation partially and simultaneously influence evaluation and control positively; (3) the organization internal environment, strategy implementation, and evaluation and control partially influence the entity’s performance positively; and the organization internal environment, strategy implementation, and evaluation and control simultaneously influence the entity’s perfomance positively and significantly, and (4) evaluation and control have the greatest influence on the entity’s perfomance if they are compared to the organization internal environment and strategy implementation, meaning that evaluation and control were the most important cause of the industry’s trend of performance decreasing.
